Team USA – Women’s Junior World Powerlifting

Team USA – Women’s Junior World Powerlifting

The Women of USA’s Junior team are ready! They are ready to defend their IPF Junior World Championship won in Poland last year. However, it will not be an easy feat!

Anchored by several veteran lifters, Michelle Van Dusen and Olivia Harrington, the women’s team will face the best of the Russian, Japanese, and Ukrainian teams this year. Last year, everything fell right into place during the entire competition, including the last deadlift of the competition (missed by the Kazakhstan).

Coaching Team USA’s Junior lifters is Curt St. Romain. Having a little extra youth this year will be both good and bad. However, this is not a “rebuilding” year; these women have the home crowd advantage, and they are ready for a battle.

SubJunior Coach Joe Lewis has put together a beautiful webpage for the SubJunior Men and Women’s Teams. Check it out here
